Creating Vision Boards: Setting Goals for the Year
Creating vision boards help you set and achieve your goals in the new year. Learn the power of manifesting with images, words, and phrases.

As we welcome in the new year, it’s important to set intentions and goals for the months ahead. One tool that has helped me stay focused on my aspirations for the past 17 years is creating a vision board.
A vision board is a collage of images, words, and phrases that represent the things you want to manifest in your life. It can include anything from career aspirations, to personal relationships, to travel plans and more. The idea is that by constantly looking at and being reminded of these desires, you will be more likely to take the necessary steps to make them a reality.
When I first began creating vision boards, I was in my early 20s, I had just started my Virtual Assistant Training Program to become a VA. I knew I was on the path to starting my own business, but wasn’t sure what that would look like. I found pictures of successful entrepreneurs, quotes about taking risks and going after what you want, and images of the kind of lifestyle I wanted to live. I put it all together on this same cork board that I’m using today and hung it next to my desk.
Over the years, my vision board has evolved and changed as my goals and aspirations have. But the underlying principle has remained the same: to keep my eyes on the prize and take daily actions towards making my dreams a reality.
One of the things I love about creating a vision board is that it allows me to get creative and have fun. I enjoy going through magazines and finding images that speak to me, and then cutting them out and arranging them on my board. It’s a form of self-expression and a way to tap into my intuition and inner desires.
But it’s not just about having fun and being creative, a vision board is also a powerful tool for setting and achieving goals. By constantly looking at the things you want to manifest, you are programming your subconscious mind to work towards making them happen.
I’ve found that creating a vision board at the beginning of each year has helped me stay focused on my goals and make progress towards achieving them. It’s a reminder of what I want to create in my life, and a way to stay motivated when things get tough.
If you’ve never created a vision board before, I highly recommend giving it a try. It’s a simple yet powerful way to set intentions and make your dreams a reality. It’s never too late to start, and you’ll be amazed at the results you can achieve when you put your mind to it.

PS – This is some of the items from 2022’s Vision Board. The interesting thing about the romance visions… they were with MYSELF. I fell deeply in love with myself and went on ZERO dates in 2022. Sooooo be open to it not always turning out how you “pictured it”
